Admission requirements for Violin & Viola :

Prior to registration, candidates must submit an audition on CD or DVD of one of the following programmes :

  • Violin : 2 movements (slow and fast) of a Bach Sonata for Solo Violin
  • Viola : 2 movements (slow and fast) of a Bach Suite for Solo Viola
  • Violin – Viola :  1 movement of a concerto from the classical or romantic repertoire (conservatory graduation level)

The Teacher Training consists of 124 hours of coursework, in 5 sessions throughout the year.  This coursework includes 20 hours of observation.
